Eyeshadow Colours For Your Eyes
Hey Beautiful,
This weeks blog post is for anyone that is stuck in a makeup rut and is bored of their go to makeup look.
I know trying something different with your makeup can feel a little scary but there really isn't anything to be afraid of, at the end of the day, you are just 1 wipe of a makeup remover pad away from it all being erased, so don't be afraid to try new things.
I hear the words, "I am just no good at makeup" all the time.
There is honestly no such thing as not being good at applying your own makeup because it just comes down to practice and experimenting to find what you like and what you don't like on you. You don't need to be a makeup artist with 15 years experience under your belt to know what you do and don't like on your own face.
If your eyeshadow doesn't look good the first time you try applying it, don't completely write eyeshadow off for you, just try making a mental note about what it is you don't like specifically about it and work on that next time, it could be something as simple as applying less, blending the edges of the eyeshadow a little more so it looks softer or applying a deeper shade more towards the outer corner of your eye . Believe me when I say, one little tweak can make ALL the difference when it comes to makeup.
Finding the right shade for you can also make the world of difference, it can compliment your eye colour, it can make your eye colour even more intensified and it can even enhance an outfit you are wearing.
What is the worst that could happen? you don't like it and take it off.
If you aren't sure what colours will suit you don't worry. I have put a little guide together for each eye colour and which shades are recommended.
Below I have laid out different eyeshadow colours for different coloured eyes.
Certain colours will really intensify and make your eye colour POP! I have also included some softer more neutral shades that will complement your eye colour without the intensity.
GREEN EYES
BLUE OR GREY EYES
HAZEL EYES
BROWN EYES
So that's your head start, pick a colour and give them a try, even if you don't wear it out anywhere and take it all off, It can be really fun playing around with new colours.
Your eyes are beautiful, so why not show them off.
Give it a try, I would love to hear how you get on.
Much Love
