Bring life back in to your face

Mar 26, 2021

Hey Beautiful,

So I did a blog post about contouring around a month ago now but that was with powder contour and some of you have been asking about cream/liquid contour recently since I have been using those products in my videos and pictures a lot more the last 3 or 4 months.

What's the difference?

The difference between the two is not just in the very obvious fact that one is a wet product and one is a dry. The difference is also who it's suitable for.

If you are a newbie to contouring or you like a more subtle natural look then cream/liquid contour is the one for you.

Is it worth it?

Contouring can bring life back to our faces after we have applied foundation. When we apply foundation we take all the natural changes in skin tone and shadowing out of our face and we can look very one dimensional and flat.

A little contour will bring back that definition to our cheek bones, temples and around the jaw line and actually give you a more natural look than without it! I know it sounds crazy, more makeup can look more natural, but it's true.

Cream and liquid contour products are much easier to blend out than their pressed powder cousins. it's fluid so it will mix with your foundation well to give a much softer appearance but it's also really easy to fix if you go too heavy with a simple dab of your foundation brush it's fixed and no one is any the wiser.

Anyway enough of my rambling here is what you all want to see...the simple video.

P.S. -  I have put the face chart below if you want to contour for your specific face shape. Just have a look and see which face shape looks the closest to yours and you will see where to contour on your face for the most flattering look.
