The voices that need to be heard
Hey Beautiful,
So I decided this week should really not be about me, my voice or what I personally feel.
It would of been wrong on so many levels for me to come here this week and post about my normal weekly stuff when we are currently in the midst of what we are all hoping is the beginning of real change.
So Instead I want to bring attention to the very important movement that needs to continue to have a voice and be heard and that is the Black Lives Matter movement.
I am white and privileged so I will never be able to understand what it is like to live in this society and world as a person of colour. The struggles they face and segregation they feel so instead I wanted to share some of the links for videos books and Netflix documentaries that I have been educating myself with this week.
These are just a few of the voices that need to be heard and ways for us to recognise what is happening and how we can be part of the change.
If anyone has any other suggestions for me to watch, read or learn from I would love to hear them. You can email me them at: robyn@coabe.email
