#prettypores
Why have we become so ashamed of something that is so natural and that we have very little control over?
This weeks blog post/video is an important one for me. It's something I know a lot of us have been/are consumed by and I think it's about time we talked honestly and frankly about it.
This weeks video is about pores.....
Although there are some things you can do to make sure your pores are clear so they aren't filled with oils etc. and are less likely to become stretched, such as using ingredients in your skincare like Salicylic acid and Niacinamide. But at the end of the day pores are pores and as I mentioned in the video a whole host of things cause a LOT of us to have enlarged pores from genetics to just having oilier skin.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with your pores or the fact you have enlarged pores or the fact you can see them. It is part of being a human being and that in of it's self is beautiful.
I have just posted a picture of my pores up close and personal to Instagram with #prettypores and I would absolutely love it if you would join me in posting a picture of your beautiful pores with the #prettypores.
I would love to see social media filled with pores so we can let go of this negative thought pattern in ourselves, let other women know that there is nothing wrong with pores and try and start fixing the skin dysmorphia that social media has created for the next generations.
Hope this video helps
